Harry thought of all the possible outcomes that could be bad. He had heard Mrs. Weasley... or was it Mr. Weasley? Anyways, one of them once said that they got married during the war, because no one knew if they would die tomorrow, and if they didn't get married, they might have broken up at one point and never gotten together. But that was a little far-fetched right? At the very least ages of people might change. Or since they weren't in a war they didn't want to have as many children, or they wanted more (more could be a good or a bad thing in every sense of the word). Harry didn't know how to explain it and it was so unlikely to change like that, but still Dumbledore's words echoed. "Maybe... I think I'm going to try. I don't want to just sit around and do nothing waiting for Voldemort gain power, I want to do something," Harry replied at first hesitant, but as the sentence went on he gained more confidence.
"The consequences of our actions are always so complicated, so diverse, that predicting the future is a very difficult business indeed," Harry stated copying Dumbledore's words from awhile back, "Anything could happen. Since the Death Eaters aren't as formed together, maybe someone else would take Voldemort's place and not make the mistake of killing a mother standing in the way of her child, and just push her away, killing me... Sorry my imagination has gotten away from me..." That couldn't happen right? Probably not.
"Well... they weren't creepy managers were they? And.. and you seemed to like them," Harry said not very confidently, though the first part he was quite sure was true. The second part was slightly a lie, because... he was jealous, he just kept those thoughts in his head. "I just didn't want to get in the way of you having happiness." It was then that he realized it. He did like Ginny, more than a friend, but he knew that he'd have to go after Voldemort, and he would most likely die. That would just hurt Ginny so much more than if he just stayed friends with her. Plus, he was afraid of how Ron would react, but that was a whole different story. All Harry could see was Voldemort in his future, even now, even more he decided he would try to stop Voldemort. He had been so used to Voldemort being the only one in his way that it was hard for Harry to see anything else beyond him and Voldemort battling it out and Harry most likely losing. When did he start getting closer to Ginny like this? He had no idea whatsoever, perhaps it was just one of those gradual things.

Ginny wanted to help to, with whatever they can do to help. She just wanted to help save people and possibly change the future for the better for Harry's sake at least. Ginny knew that if they didn't do something it could result into something far worse. To her, just being here and talking to the students and teachers of the past could have already changed the future because if they were there, they could have already upsetted the time. For example, lets say Ginny was talking to another girl in the past, but that girl was suppose to be in class, since that girl wasn't in class, she missed an important lesson that she could have used in the future and if she didn't know the lesson, she would have messed something up or done something wrong. The point Ginny was thinking is that being here already was a mistake but they couldn't take it back now could they?
She listened to his words and she looked up at him. "But Harry, we aren't here just to be here, we're here for a reason, we might need to change something or help out with something. Like you and Hermione did in your third year with the time turner." she spoke gently as she looked at him. Ginny strongly believe they had a reason to be here but she didn't know what it was. She didn't know if being here was a lesson to learn or if they were suppose to carry out events so that the future remains the same. Ginny didn't know but she knew Harry and the rest of them would put it together.
"Harry I can't say anything bad about the managers because I have to work for them." she said gently as she looked at him. As she heard about the next line about being happy, she looked up into his beautiful eyes and she gave him a heart warming smile. She knew she had to take a chance with what she was going to say now. It was now or never, it was her time to say what she honestly felt. No more running around Harry, it was time she stopped. "Harry, you make me extremely happy. You could never be in the way because you are the definition of happiness for me." she spoke and gently she turned red as her red hair. She knew she had to take that step if she didn't she could lose Harry and that would break her heart.

Were they really here for a reason? Maybe the reason was to make sure that James and Lily died, or to make sure that something happened, and not defeat Voldemort. Either way... Harry had decided that yes, he would try to defeat Voldemort. But he didn't know if he could do it in time. He after all had no idea how to go about defeating Voldemort. Only if Dumbledore could tell him... Maybe Dumbledore would know by now and would teach him. Just mattered if Harry could get a chance to talk to him, after all he had already decided to talk with Dumbledore.
"Of course... I know. I suppose all we can do is try to defeat him, and worry about any consequences later," Harry replied. It was the sort of thing he would normally do, like what he did in the ministry the night Sirius died, he rushed in without thinking. Ever since then Harry wanted to think things through, but so far it had gotten him nowhere.
Had she really said that he made her happy? No, that can't be true. There must be something wrong with his ears. Ginny wouldn't say that right? "I...? What?" Harry began, not believing what she said, but he trusted her. He just didn't know she would say something like that. At least in the last year she didn't seem to show those sort of feelings towards him. Even before when she had just come to Hogwarts, Harry just believed it was one of those infatuations everyone had, but now, he had a feeling it was more, but he wouldn't believe that someone could feel that way about him, actually him, not the Chosen Boy or whatever they called him. "A-are you sure? I mean... I'm not that great of a person if you take out the Chosen One thing..." Harry was quite sure that he was a not a very impressive guy and was only bolstered by his unwanted title of Chosen One, or the Boy Who Lived.

Ginny knew she would do everything in her power to help Harry, just like she did at the night of when Sirius had died. She was willing to fight for him if she could. Ginny was a determined girl to help out in any possible way, maybe that's why she was a Gryffindor besides her being brave and all that jazz. She was ready to take on the world for Harry, if he allowed her to of course, but even then she would still do the same. Ginny knew that he would have to fight Voldemort alone, but she was willing to help him fight everything else. She didn't understand why it had to be him, she didn't want it to be Harry only because she could lose him forever. That idea scared her of course.
Ginny smiled at him as he seemed to be shock at what she had said. Ginny was a good liar, but she would never lie about her feelings to Harry. Ginny knew her feelings for him were and are true because she tried being with other guys and when she heard about Harry and Cho, it and her extremely sad. She was glad they weren't seeing much of each other anymore. She couldn't help but to look at Harry. A smile on her face again.
"Harry, I don't see you as the chosen one." She started off gently as she looked into his eyes, she loved those eyes of his. It wasn't only because of the color, it was because it was his eyes and that's what made it all the more better. "I like you, even when Hermione said I should move on, I couldn't." she started off and she seemed a bit nervous. She knew Harry wouldn't be mean to her if she revealed her emotions to him. "What I mean is, I've liked you even before I knew you were the chosen one. I don't think your great, I think you're the best. Being the chosen one doesn't define who you are in the inside. Its just a title." she spoke, feeling nervous only because she was revealing her thoughts to him and she barely ever did something like that although if it was other things she probably would.
"Its who you are that I fell for."

It always had to be him. He knew that from the moment he had found out about Voldemort, if he came back of course, because the first time he heard about Voldemort was in his first year, and at that point Voldemort was, but a memory. However, even back then he had an itching feeling that Voldemort would somehow come back, and he knew that he had to be involved, if not the only one who was battling Voldemort in the end. And with the new knowledge that there was a prophecy saying that he, Harry James Potter, was the only one with the power to defeat the Dark Lord, it was definite. But he had a feeling that it was true from the very beginning. Ginny wouldn't understand this, mostly because if she knew what the prophecy said she would get in trouble. If for some reason she did understand why it HAD to be him, well that would worry him slightly.
He was shocked, feeling it was all of a sudden, but he could tell that she was not lying. All last year he and Ginny had been getting closer, but he supposed that it was just him, as she had liked him for awhile. She had always been there for him, when he thought about it, especially last year when everything fell apart. She was one of the biggest supporters of the DA from the very beginning. And when everything with Cho hit the fan, well she was there too. And at the ministry, she was there. Harry realized she had been there for everything, and if she truly felt this way about him, he must have caused some sort of hurt by pretty much ignoring her for the most part, grouping her with everyone else, when in reality, she was one of the few with him throughout it all. Sure there was Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Luna, but really Hermione was always just a good friend, and so were the boys. Luna, well, she was odd, but he just met her, and could not ever see himself dating her, no offense to her. But then there was Ginny. It was always her. He was just so blind to it, he never saw it. She was always the one in the background, always fighting, always there if he really needed it.
He was quite speechless when it came to how to respond. He liked her, a lot, but he wasn't sure if he could say that he fell for her, because in reality he wasn't sure. "I... er.... well... what I mean to say is..." Geez he sounded like a nervous school boy facing a girl who really liked him. Wait, he was a nervous school boy facing a girl who really liked him, so that was ok right? "I like you a lot, and... er... well..." Get it together Potter! She'll think bad about your for being so nervous. Harry took a deep breath. "While I can't say I've fallen for you, I do like you, a lot, and more than just friends, or my best mate's little sister." Everything that she had said, well it made her even better in his eyes, pretty, smart, beautiful, and someone who looks past all this chosen one stuff, or the boy who lived stuff, to see him, just him. That was something he looked in someone. He didn't realize it before, but when he looked back to his relationship with Cho, she liked him as a second choice, and it was doomed to fail, especially with their opposing views of several things. "If you want to hang out sometime, you know just the two of us, I-I wouldn't be opposed it."
