When: September 4th 1976 - Afternoon Where: In front of a Hogsmeade shop window Who: Ginevra Weasley and Harry Potter OOC Notes: Closed and archived due to loss of player for Ginevra Weasley
Ginny was walking around Hogsmeade thinking to herself how in the world could she end up here back in time. She was too nervous to run int family members in the past in case she would ruin future events. She hadn't seen anyone she knew for a while now and she was getting pretty nervous at the fact that she might not be able to make it home in present time. She knew eventually that she would make it home to her mom and dad and her brothers. Speaking of brothers, she hadn't seen Fred, George, or Ron. She hoped to see them soon, if it was one thing, she wouldn't want to leave without them. She cared about her brothers more than anything in the world, well besides one special other. Since time changed on her, she felt out of place and she knew she was. She wasn't alive at this time and it was awkward to be here.
She was walking down the brick road figuring she could find something she liked. Dumbledore was supplying them with the necessities and she was glad he was the same old Dumbledore, why wouldn't he be anyways? She walked along the brick just minding her own business. Her mind was trapped on thoughts of how she was going to get back home and the moment she did get back home, she wanted to see her family. She sighed and looked up and noticed one of the shops was selling clothes. She didn't even know if she was even in the mood, she knew she would shop with Hermione if she was around. Sadly, she hadn't seen her yet and it made her wonder, where were they.
Actually, she wondered where Harry was at and she hoped he didn't get sucked in, but knowing Harry for a while now, he probably did along with the rest of them. She walked up to the store looking through the window at all the clothes. She didn't want any but she figured it would be nice to just look. Her family didn't have many luxuries, it didn't bother her though, she was not to extreme for a girl. Growing up with brothers certainly took a toll on her girly side.

While Harry had met both Sirius and Lily already, he hadn't spotted anyone he knew. Ron nor Hermione had shown up at least around where he was. Harry was almost worried, though he still was convinced this was dream. It couldn't be real, or could it? Harry didn't know what to think. It sure seemed very real, and what proof was there it wasn't real? It was just so weird how somehow he was transported back in time to when his parents were his age. Just four years prior to his birth. Such a weird happening. He wanted to figure out what was going on, but he couldn't think of anything that would do this to him.
Harry had been in Hogsmeade, as it was a Hogsmeade weekend, and was looking for people he knew as he window shopped. Of course while Dumbledore was providing the necessities, it would be too much to give them spending money, so he didn't have any. He thought about withdrawing it from the bank, before he realized he couldn't, seeing as the money was probably not in 'his' vault. Maybe he could tell them to take the money out 20 years from now. No, Harry just had to deal with it, maybe even get his own job and make some money.
When Harry was walking down the street, he saw a familiar glint of red hair. At first when he began his approach he thought it was Lily, but when he came into closer proximity he realized it wasn't Lily, but Ron's sister, Ginny! He had missed her company lately, especially since they had a good time last summer and spent a lot of time together. Harry considered her a good friend. Harry sped his pace in order to make sure he got to her before she left. "Ginny? Is that really you?" Harry asked looking at the red headed Weasley.

Ginny wished she could go shopping but she didn't need new clothes, maybe a part of her wished to do it so it could take her mind off of things. Of course she knew deep down that would only be a moment for her not to worry. She knew eventually it would come back to her like all things tend to do. She always thought things through maybe thats why she was great on the broom or she was great at Dueling with other wizards and witches. She remembered how that used to be, fighting against them, using her spells and charms and whatnot. She was great at it and she knew she would keep doing it as long as Harry needed her. Oh, how she missed him so much. If only he knew how much she had felt about him. She was tempted to show him but she had to make sure herself that he felt the same way.
She knew that if she ever saw him again, she would have to take a chance. But just like her thoughts of him, he had appeared and when she turned towards Harry, a glow in her eyes seemed to appear in the moment she laid eyes on him. She could feel her heart skipping, he always seemed to do that and she could never explain why. She just knew her feelings were true everytime she laid eyes on him and she hated to hide her feelings. Although she wanted to take a chance with him, she knew how in this time period wasn't the smart thing to do. She would have to wait and see how things played out. All she could do is stand there and stare into those beautiful green eyes. Her mouth was hanging some as she looked at him.
"Harry.." she whispered and she made her way towards him and threw her arms around him. She held onto him tightly and relaxed her chin at his shoulder. "I thought I was alone!" she said in his ear and she pulled away to look at him. She was so glad that she wasn't seeing things. If she had, she knew it would have been a nightmare or Hell. Maybe even a combination of both? She took a good look at him and she just couldn't believe it, her heart wanted to jump out of her chest. She was just so happy to see him, so very happy indeed.

Harry was getting homesick, even if he still hadn't met James, or the younger Remus Lupin. And just the sight of Ginny made him feel so much better, and not as homesick. He missed the DA meetings, the Hagrid they knew, Ron, Hermione, everyone he considered a friend, heck Harry almost missed Draco Malfoy. He was happy though meeting and getting to know Sirius better, and his mother. He really hoped that he would find Ron and Hermione especially sometime soon, but Ginny made him just as happy to see her.
Being separated from her and having her go off on her own on the train made him realize that he truly considered her as a friend and not just Ron's little sister, though if Harry though anything else, he was completely oblivious to that fact. Harry considered her almost as close of a friend as Ron and Hermione, which was really something because no one had really gotten that close, well besides Ron and Hermione obviously.
Ginny had thrown her arms around him, and Harry hugged her back happily. Harry was quite pleased that he finally had someone he knew here, and therefore when they got out of this mess they could compare stories to see if it actually happened or if it was just a dream. "I really thought so too, at least from where we're from," Harry said with a renewed sense of overwhelming happiness, "I've already met some from here, including Lily Evans and Sirius Black!" He just was so excited about it for some reason, and he was happier now than he ever was in his whole life.

She thought she could never be so happy to see someone she knew, especially since it was Harry, the guy she's had a huge crush on since she first laid eyes on him when she was ten years old at the train station. She knew she was young at the time and so was Harry, but just to think how many years have gone by and she still managed to feel the same way about him. Hermonie always tried changing her mind about Harry but she never ever took her eyes off him. She knew that Harry was a good guy and thats what made her realized how she felt about him.
When she heard he had met Sirius Black she smiled at him widely. She remembered him with the battle with deatheaters and what not. She remembered a lot of things and that was one of them. She was happy for Harry, she really was. It was a good chance to get to his family. She knew it would be his only chance and she was happy he got that chance that not many others do. She couldn't help but to look in those amazing green eyes that she adored so much. She couldn't look away nor did she want to. She cleared her thorat.
"Harry this is your chance to get to know your parents and Sirius better. Do you realize how much of a gift this is?" she said with a small smile on her face. Her on the other hand was staying away from her side of the family unless it was her brothers of course. But she didn't need to know her mother in the past. Her mother had the blessing of telling her everything that had happened in the past. Ginny felt like she was blessed compared to Harry's situtation. But she was really happy that he got to see his family and she was glad she caught up with him in this wierd time loop or whatever it was. She couldn't even explain what was going on. She knew she could trust Harry though and Dumbledore as well.

Harry's smile widened even farther, if that was even possible. He felt like the luckiest person alive. Lucky was something Harry almost never felt, though he did when he was able to have a good time with Ron and Hermione, seeing as he was lucky to have them. But especially before this, he felt like the unluckiest person alive in the whole world, with Sirius, Voldemort, Umbridge, and the ministry all getting him down.
"Probably not," Harry replied, "But I know I'm very lucky for it." Yesterday was a gift to him, today was a gift to him, and if they stayed tomorrow was a gift as well. Why couldn't he just call them all the present? Sirius was taken away from him so fast, so fast it was worse than his parents. Harry didn't know his parents, but he knew Sirius and lost him before they could be with each other for very long.

Ginny had never been so happy to see Harry as of right now and she knew she was pretty lucky to have him out of all the people in the world. Ginny knew Harry would figure out something, he always had. He might have been the best student in the world, but if she knew anything about Harry, he was the best savior. Ginny knew Harry was smart about situations like this, she knew she couldn't always depend on him, but she knew they could depend on each other if the time came to it. If Ginny was good at something besides her magic, she was good at figuring out things, maybe not as well as Harry but it never hurt to give insight on the situtation at hand.
"It's a great opportinuty for you. I'm really happy. You deserve something good to look forward to." she spoke gently towards him as she placed her hand on his shoulder gently. "I think you deserve this and so much more." she spoke softly but than moved her hand off his shoulder and gently placed it at her side. She was thrilled for him because he was given a rare gift to see his parents and Sirius. She remembered when he died and she remembered how broke Harry was over it. She wished she could heal his wounds. Ginny didn't understand death like Harry and she knew she wouldn't anytime soon or she hoped so since they were back in the past now.

It would be cruel to Harry if he was yanked back to his time suddenly tomorrow, because it would have just opened his wound that had finally begun to heal. Sirius was so much harder of a death to get over. Sure Harry faced death so many times, every year of his Hogwarts career. Fourth year was the first when he actually lost someone he cared about, Cedric and it took him forever to get over, and he still had nightmares. And then to add Sirius, was just torture. Maybe this was nature's way of saying sorry for killing someone you were close to, here you can meet him when he's younger. But that'd be vain of him.
"Thanks... I can finally just relax, and enjoy my life," Harry stated smiling looking at her hand that was placed on his shoulder, feeling slightly warm and when she dropped her hand feeling slightly colder. All Harry had wanted was to defeat Voldemort, protect those he cared about, and be a normal wizard boy, now an ordinary wizard teen. Even still his scar, which was only slightly tingling since he came here was a constant reminder of what he was and where he needed to return to.
Anyways, when they did go back it would be around the time they left... hopefully. And if not, Harry would feel quite bad enjoying himself and leaving them to struggle against Voldemort without any of his help. Oh how Harry just panicked at this thought. When he returned he could have so much more ripped away from him. Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Remus, everyone he cared about could be dead when they returned.

Ginny knew this time wrap could be tricky, they could ruin the past and change the future. That's not something she's willing to do so she made sure she wouldn't run into her parents. She knew that she would make sure that she avoided them all costs. She didn't even know how to explain she was related to the Weasleys, thats why she avoid the question at any possible time. Although Ginny was a talented liar, she tried not to unless needed and she knew lately would be a need. Ginny got away with lots of things, with her parents, but she didn't know how to explain her last name and her trade mark features that gave her away as a Weasley. Ginny would eventually find an excuse to give to someone if they asked though.
"I'm glad you can." she simply stated with a small smile. She looked around Hogsmeade and it seemed as though nothing had even changed except maybe a few people here and there. "At least things aren't too different. I would have been worried if I got stuck somewhere with muggles" she spoke softly. Her dad was studying muggles and he always had different thories about them, but sometimes Ginny didn't pay attention when her father spoke about them and if she was stuck somewhere with muggles, she knew she would have been completely lost. Plus, it was a different time era, what happens if things with muggles were different unlike with Magic, it some what stays the same.
"I got a job as a waitress. At the three broomsticks" she smiled softly. Because Ginny was a pretty girl, the bartender allowed for her to get a job and seeing it wasn't too far away from the school she would have to attend there every night to do some shifts. She knew having a job wouldn't be easy but it was better than not having any money at all.

Harry was trying to make sure that he didn't mess up anything with his parents, nor anyone else's, especially the Weasleys, while having fun and trying to be like a normal kid, and stop worrying about the future, because it would come eventually and there was nothing he could stop from happening, well he could, but right now he couldn't. Harry wanted to do something, but he shoved those feelings away, and tried enjoying himself for once in his life.
"Oh yeah, I would've been really worried, and lost most likely... neither of us can apparate so we couldn't get to somewhere that we knew had magical people to find out what was going on," Harry replied. He shouldn't let his imagination get away from him. He just imagined what could've happened to the wizarding world if Voldemort hd caused this, and somehow took over the world while they were in 'this time' or if Voldemort had killed him and many others and this was heaven. No, it couldn't be. His parents were young, it is a time right before Voldemort's time, but it didn't help Harry to quell his mind that this was heaven and he and Ginny were dead with all these other faces of people he knew were dead.
"I suppose now it'll be you with the money?" Harry tried joking knowing that the Weasleys would never accept any money from his account, no matter how hard he tried to help the family out, "I've applied at places, but they haven't accepted me... I think I might try Hog's Head, Abeforth probably would hire me..." Abeforth might've been told by Dumbledore about where they came from and might be nice enough to give Harry a job for some spending money and savings.

Ginny liked the idea of muggles, that's what made her family different from other pureblood families. She didn't really care about the blood purity thing. She thought it was a joke seeing as people took it much too seriously. She really didn't want to run into those kind of people anyways, they weren't her crowd to be around with and when Ginny was around someone she didn't like, she would make sure they knew that. But then again it wasn't that easy to make Ginny hate someone. But she did hate Malfoy for two ones, one he hated everything about her family including that they didn't have too much money and that they were purebloods that didn't care about the purity and two she hated how mean he was to Harry. Ginny felt like Harry didn't deserve any of that.
"At least I made a move for money." she smiled at him as she looked into his eyes. To her it was a double meaning, one what it actually says and two it was about her and Harry. She knew that if Harry didn't make any move that she would have to but of course she rather he made it. Hermonie always told her that she should move on from Harry and that it wasn't a good idea to wait on him. Ginny thought differently, she had cared about Harry for so many years that why should she stop waiting for him? She never gave up on her feelings before and she wasn't going to now.
"I'm sure they can help you." she smiled gently. "I think I only got my job because they thought I was pretty, the way the manager looked at me was bloodly creepy." she said as she looked at Harry to see his reaction to that statement.

The thing with Harry was that when he thought about how much different he would be if his parents were alive and not targeted by Voldemort, and he was quite scared that he might have a little pure blood supremacy, even if his parents weren't that way at all. He was a half-blood, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be proud to be his father's son, and then maybe... maybe he could've been swayed by Malfoy their first year when Malfoy offered to be friends and show Harry who the 'right sort' to hang out with really was.
"I've just been a bit preoccupied with Voldemort things and now... marauding things," Harry replied, with two meanings as well, even if it wasn't a concious choice to have it mean two things. Of course Harry like Ginny and could see them in a romantic encounter, and even subconciously he wanted it, but Harry didn't know it yet. The reason he said maruading things was because he didn't want to be overheard and people realize that Harry was making it a point to meet the Marauders, so that in its self had two meanings, because Harry felt like a literal marauder sometimes, like an outlaw, like last year with Umbride. Subconciously the second meaning to the message was that he's been too busy to think of too much romance, and he'd always had that crush on Cho, until she crushed him with a sort of betrayal.
"Whoa now," Harry said slightly getting jealous, "If that manager looks at you that way again, I will go down there and make sure he doesn't do it again... don't worry nothing bad would happen though, just a strongly worded conversation." Harry had been getting jealous of Ginny for a while, especially if she was with another.

Ginny looked at him as he Voldemort and she thought to herself for a moment. If he stopped Voldemort now, he could have saved many people, including his parents and even Sirius. She thought for a moment and she wondered if this was his new destiny, if this was how it was suppose to happen all along. She knew she wasn't like Hermonie, but she was clever in her own way and she was grateful for that. She looked at him with realization in her eyes. She didn't know where to start or how to tell her the conclusion of what she thought, she just knew she should say something about her thoughts before she forgot about it or if she just figured it wouldn't be the best way to put it.
"Harry, what if you were the reason Voldemort disappeared in the first place, the reason that no one knew what happened to him?" she said as she looked at him. She thought it would be a pretty good idea why Voldemort disappeared, it would put things together well. The first War was coming in within a few years, what if Harry was meant to stay here to take care of Voldemort the first time around? It would make sense right? At least to Ginny it did. Ginny was prepared to help Harry in any possible way she can. Ginny knew she was ready for this since Harry started DA, possibly even before that maybe when she first encounter Tom Riddle's diary in her first year. She was ready, she could feel it.
Ginny couldn't help at smile at Harry's answer. "You seem a little bit...overprotective there, Harry." She didn't want to say jealous because she knew that would be stepping on his toes and she wanted for him to realize his reaction to the whole manager thing. Ginny was a talented liar but she didn't like about the Manager, she felt gross when he was staring at her, but she knew she needed a job to get money especially when as a waitress you could get a tip.

Harry thought about what she said for a second. Maybe if he... if he defeated Voldemort before he went for him and his parents it would mean that... That was a fantastic idea! And at the moment he wasn't as strong. It would be a lot harder to beat Voldemort in 1996 than it was now, since he was just beginning his reign and in 1996 he had so much power it seemed. Harry thought about it for a second, then thinking it was a fantastic idea. Defeat Voldemort and save his parents, Sirius and countless others lives. But then what Dumbledore once said popped into his head, 'The consequences of our actions are always so complicated, so diverse, that predicting the future is a very difficult business indeed.' He would have to proceed with caution if he were to do that.
"So what you're saying is that... I go work on defeating Voldemort and then I could save my parents?" Harry asked wanting to make sure he understood her right. He liked the idea, but he wasn't sure what exactly to say to it. He wanted to do it, and save his parents, but if he did, what would the future be like? Would it be worse or better? The future is a hard thing to predict.
Harry was taken by surprise by her response to it. But then he realized he did respond a little more than he should. Excuses. What could he come up with? "Well... um... you know... You are my best friend's sister... and well... your a good friend and all," Harry said slightly nervously not sure if he sounded like an idiot or not. He did the same sort of thing when he asked Cho to the Yule Ball, but surely he didn't harbor those same feelings for Ginny... right?

Ginny smiled at him as he spoke to her about defeating Voldemort and she nodded. "Yes, we should work on defeating Voldemort. It could save lives and trouble." She spoke gently as she looked at him, then she turned to look into one of the stores thinking for a moment than she turned back to him. "We could save so many lives, Neville's parents, Sirius, Your parents, they can all be spared. Sometimes time travel happens for a reason, maybe this is the reason." She spoke softly as she looked at Harry. She was ready to be by his side and fight all that they had to. She was more than ready to help him with his mission. She just hoped that Ron and Hermonie were close by or around here somewhere. She knew his friends would help him.
" Harry, how much worse could the future get without Voldemort?" she asked him that question as she looked into his eyes. She was tempted to make a move, to feel her lips against his, but she knew he had a duty to do and she knew he probably wouldn't want to get closer to her. It made her sad to think about but she knew eventually it would be the right time and she knew one day she might have a chance with him. Or so she hoped for it. She smiled at him gently and she didn't even make an inch towards him even though she was tempted to.
"And where were you when I was dating Dean and the rest of them?" she asked as she crossed her arms around her chest. "And I have Ron and the rest of my brothers for that." she smiled at him knowing eventually the truth could come out, at least to what she was thinking or more like hoping in her sake. She didn't know how he actually felt but she wanted to hope it was what she thought it was.
